LeftWords is a free public event that celebrates and promotes the work of Canadian and international writers and thinkers whose works appear in books and magazines by Canadian independent publishers. Canadian and international authors will be on hand for readings, panels, and discussions. Confirmed speakers include Michele Landsberg (keynote speaker), Frances Fox Piven, Keith Stewart, Deborah Barndt, Alan Filewod, Leo Panitch, Greg Albo, Larry Savage, Stephanie Ross, Sean Carleton, Emily Pohl-Weary and more.
