As a painter and organizer I have a passion for innovative arts and culture program development, but have also had experience in communications, and office and project management in both the non-profit and private sectors. I have had the opportunity of working with a range of communities in Vancouver, Canada and Kigali, Rwanda. A new realization that I have come to is that I really love hearing people's stories and perspectives, which is why a lot of my work has not only incorporated community collaboration, but also interviewing people for their perspective for research, program and policy projects.

I am new to Toronto, so am really looking to find out more about arts and community here. So far I feel there is a strong and active engagement, compared to a lot of other cities that I've lived in.
