What We Do

ArtsSmarts is a dynamic approach to generating and sustaining innovative school partnerships centred around the arts. We redefine the environment of schooling and reimagine student success. At ArtsSmarts, we:
• Support the collaboration of artist-teacher teams to generate creative solutions that engage kids in their own learning
• Cultivate 21st century learning skills such as the ability to think creatively, understand deeply, experience ownership of their learning, work collaboratively and reflect
• Connect people, ideas and actions through a cross-sector pan-Canadian network
• Disseminate best practices on creativity, innovation and its impact on learning through research, publications and learning events
