About:
My style of work cannot be simply pigeonhole into a specific artistic definition as I work on fast lines of art genre, which sometime can be pure impractical abstraction that borders on political or narrative expression.
I am an interdisciplinary artist working on ranges of media, which includes but not limited to painting, photography, and sculpture.
I use a variety of medium on various materials; new or used canvas, papers, and packaging cardboards or found objects that appropriately challenge, or suit the particular subject that I set out to address in my work.
On few occasions, I tend not to take myself seriously thereby using irony to investigate my subjects. In addition, I regularly and intentionally leave my work seems incomplete.
Moreover, I am more interested in the contents of the work and the impression it generates rather than on technique and style: working in a non-linear progression in time embedding metaphors with minimum regard for aesthetics result of the artwork.
My goal is not to achieve perfection but to relentlessly reaching for it as I consider perfection as an illusion and limitation. Therefore, I have my work not too refined to let viewer’s in-depth imagination play critical role in appreciating my work in a socio-cultural context.
Thoughts about art and community:
I am interested in helping others appreciate power of creative solutions that is inherent in arts and understand how arts impact social-cultural, economic mental development in individual and community at large.
