Christine Mayor
About:
Christine Mayor, M.A. is a drama therapist, clinician and workshop facilitator who believes in the importance of individual healing towards collective social change. Her practice combines improvisation, story, embodiment, humour and play to support others in coping with life’s instabilities and breaking rigid ideas about identity.
Christine works in both the aesthetic theatre world as a performer and playwright and creates theatre for social change workshops and events, utilizing the work of Augusto Boal, Playback Theatre and Developmental Transformations.
Christine graduated from New York University with a Master’s Degree in Drama Therapy and has worked creatively in Bermuda, Canada, USA, Cambodia and Thailand.
