Founded in 2009, Our vision is a vibrant and dynamic Tibetan arts and culture movement contributing innovatively within a truly diverse Canadian and Global Culture; a movement that promotes creativity, collaboration, openness and sustainability.

Even though Toronto has a diverse population as per stats and reality as we see it which has grown due to immigration from many countries over the last 25 or more years which contributes to the diverse group of people of diverse traditions and backgrounds. In terms of art movement there is lack of that reflection as has happened in food. There needs to be a concerted effort at all levels to bring this up/ understand this and work towards creating a more equitable opportunity for all artists of all backgrounds/traditions/cultures. After all, when we think about," what is Canadian Art"? There can't be one static answer when the reality is that it is a dynamic process and has to be. I hope to see that there are more and more artists and those who support the arts to become aware of this situation and work towards bridging all kinds of gaps in existence! Each individual artist, or art organizations can also knock doors of opportunity through mutual sharing, education and openness.
