Bead-AFUL! & MORE's Creative Workshops founder, Laura Dee is an avid Bead-AFUL enthusiast, Artist, Creative Arts Educator and professional Jeweler working with Gold, Silver, Platinum and semi-precious stones and retails her own limited edition pieces in select boutiques in Europe and North America. She has a B.A. in Sociology and BHSc. in Textiles-Art, Science and Design. French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Urdu, Hebrew and counting, she free lances for several international companies as well. We have never looked back since! The children, youth and adults adore Bead-AFUL! & MORE creative workshops!

Coming from a mixed background and having majored in textiles, art influences me. As a Professional Weaver, Fibre-to-Fabric Artist and a self-taught jewelry artist, I work with hand-blown Glass, Semi-precious Stones Terracotta, Re-worked Vintage, Brass, Wood, Surgical and Brushed Steel, Silver, 14 KT Gold-plating, Leather & other applications.

Toronto is a wonderful city with varied cultures and traditions forming a HUGE melting pot. Without accessibility to the arts, a person is not a complete individual. Community+Art are interconnected!
