I am an interdisciplinary artist who believes that art has relevance and can contribute to better understandings of and engagement with social, political and environmental issues. I have been working in the community arts for over 15 years in Canada and internationally.

I am currently completing my PhD focusing on Community Arts Education and I am interested in hearing what other people in the field think about this topic and what their learning experiences have been.

I am also affiliated with the Centre for Arts-informed Research at the University of Toronto. I believe the arts are a form of research and can offer insight in ways that expand, support and challenge other forms of research/inquiry.
