A founding group elected the first executive, in March 1998 at Edithvale Community Centre, with Joy Orzy as mentor. Monthly meetings provided demonstrations and lectures.

Two major and successful events were held each year, and will continue in 2009/10 with our major group show in December and a studio tour in the fall.

The group has maintained its appeal as an intimate, supportive group for artists from beginner to professional and for those working in diverse mediums.
