I have been a professional potter for 26 years. I have a studio-store location and also sell at a number of shows throughout Southern Ont. I currently supply pottery to four galleries. I have taught adults and children for over ten tears. In the past three years I have begun extensively teaching clay sculpture, story writing and figurative drawing for grafic novel creation in schools in Toronto and area. I have recently begun making the logical extension of this arts education experience by developing community arts projects. I am currently working with the South Riverdale Community Health Centre and Hepatitis C participants in the creation of a clay instillation. I would love to further explore the potential of community arts with different groups.

I have seen the incredible ability of the arts to draw disparate people together and give them a sence of self worth and community.
