Rain Chan is a performer and playwright. Recent performance credits include: Round:About / Pluralism in Performance (The MT Space) The Keith Cole Experience, TELL (The MT Space), Stop Slash Go (Theatre Revolve), A Night of New Voices, Afamefuna (Theatre Revolve), Pride Cab (Buddies in Bad Times Theatre), FruitLoopz, and The Kitchen Breakdown Reality TV Show (The Cabaret Company), Red Nose Cabaret. Her play, Rem, received its first reading at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (Eventual Ashes). The Cure was showcased at the fu-GEN 6th Annual Potluck Festival. Rain was Stage Manager for Diss (Mixed Company Theatre), Hong Kong Pop Culture 30’s-80’s (Toronto Chinese Artists Association), Live For the Moment (Toronto Cantonese Arts Association), Assistant Director for Friendship Rhapsody, (CCM Centre). Rain continues to train in improv comedy (The Bad Dog Theatre Company), and clown. Most recently, Rain discovered her love for circus at the Toronto School of Circus Arts.
