Toronto Irish Film Festival

About:

The Toronto Irish Film Festival (TIRFF) celebrates the best of Irish cinema.

With sold-out screenings in 2010 and 2011, the festival has quickly assumed the role of primary promoter of Irish film to the large Greater Toronto Irish community and the Toronto film-loving public.

TIRFF is unique within the Toronto Irish cultural calendar - there is no other Irish film festival in Toronto or, indeed, Ontario.

The festival provides a cultural destination for Toronto and Ontario based ex-patriots, from the very old and the very new, to connect with the culture of home.

TIRFF creates a unique cultural environment for over 500,000 people who claim Irish heritage in the GTA to keep in touch with modern Irish culture, as well as bringing the best of Ireland’s creative output to a loyal film audience in the city.
