Turtle House is a small, but unique art-based organization in Toronto, designed primarily for children and families from refugee backgrounds to explore their creativity, play, express themselves and make meaningful connections.

The Turtle House program is multifaceted – it incorporates art and recreation for children (5-12 years of age) as well as a discussion group for the parents to connect with each other and to gain necessary information on how to navigate the system of their new home. Turtle House offers a free program with additional supports, such as TTC fares, refreshment and interpreters to diminish barriers to participation.
