Toronto Arts Council’s Artists in the Library grant application is now live! Artists in the Library is a partnership initiative created in 2014 between Toronto Arts Council (TAC) and Toronto Public Library (TPL) designed as a community-engaged artist residency for select TPL Branches outside the downtown core. Grants of $20,000 are available to professional artists, not-for-profit arts organizations and collectives working in any discipline to create new work, deliver public programming and present collaborative projects for 11 select TPL branches: Albion (Etobicoke), Cedarbrae (Scarborough), Don Mills (North York), Downsview (North York), Fairview (North York), Malvern (Scarborough), Mimico Centennial (Etobicoke), Oakwood Village Library and Arts Centre (Toronto East York), Richview (Etobicoke), Scarborough Civic Centre (Scarborough), and York Woods (North York).
