aluCine Board of Directors
aluCine Toronto Latin Film & Media Arts Festival offers the opportunity to become a member of our board of directors! We are currently seeking dynamic new board members to serve a 1-year term (renewable) beginning in September 2012.
The Board of Directors is responsible for long-term organizational planning and overall oversight of the organization. Board members are required to attend 8-10 board meetings a year, to undertake work on behalf of the organization between meetings, and to work collaboratively with the festivals staff, members, and volunteers. This is a very exciting and unique opportunity to play an active role in the Toronto art scene.
Our board, along with our staff and the arts community in Toronto, is what makes us who we are, and what allows us to establish programs that are vital to our community's survival within the Toronto milieu. We are very excited at the prospect of the new ideas and support new board members could potentially bring to Southern Currents!
