Contest Details
Anybody can call themselves an artist but it takes guts to make it a career. It’s scary living with the fear of becoming the stereotypical “Starving Artist” and having your personal work publicly judged. At Ambition Competitions we encourage people to pursue their passions by hosting competitions that provide the winners with the resources and exposure they need to make their dreams a reality.
For this competition, artists will be designing their own drawing or painting of what being fearless means to them. The top 10 finalists will have a chance to participate in a live HD filmed event, where they will have 2 hours to create a new piece from scratch and present it in front of our panel of judges for a chance to win $1000 and an exclusive video interview!
Rules
Must be between the ages of 19-30 years old.
All submissions must represent the theme of being Fearless.
Submissions must be created in a tactile format such as a physical drawing or painting. No computerized images or photography will be accepted.
All contestants must submit a written component of minimum 150 words explaining how they have demonstrated fearlessness and Ambition in their artwork and in their life. You may also provide a link to a video in the email however it is not mandatory.
Entries will NOT be accepted past the deadline of July 31st 11:59PM.
If you are chosen as a finalist, you must be able to attend the live event on Aug.24 at 627 Queen st. W in Toronto. Failure to attend will result in being disqualified.
Finalists will have a maximum of 2 hours to complete their Fearless themed art piece at the event.
Finalists must bring all of their own materials to the live event for the live painting/drawing competition. Supplies will not be provided.
There are no size limits for entry submissions BUT the event piece must be minimum 8.5 x 11 inches.

2. Write minimum of 150 words describing how you have been Fearless and Ambitious in the past. Describe why you need the money and why you deserve to win.
