Artist Development Workshops: Dancers
106 & York and Urban Arts presents...
the RUNDOWN Dancers' Edition
If you are a dancer between the ages of 15 and 24 and want to make dancing your career, come out to our artist development workshop for dancers.
We will cover the differnt types of professional streams for dancers, portfolios for dancers, getting auditions, contracts for paid gigs and grant writing.
Dancers should come with a 3-4 minute routine to get feedback from our facilitators.
In addition, instructors witll teach two one hour classes in different styles of dance. Please RSVP with your top 2 choices from the following:Hip-Hop, House, Jazz-Funk or Dance Hall.
