Artist Soup Kitchen - Next Monday January 30, noon to 3pm

January 26, 2012

For six Monday afternoons this winter artists are invited to come to the Artists’ Soup Kitchen for a FREE HOT LUNCH. Each week is hosted by different artists who will bring their creative practices to the Soup Kitchen.

Next Monday (January 30), Naty Tremblay will be sharing some of her personal stories "from the farms, factories, streets, plantations, greenhouses, sweatshops, and family dinners" she has encountered. She also describes the content as: "These contested sites between community, colonialism and capitalism, as well as the diverse peoples that navigate them regularly have provided some of the most significant learnings of my life." She will also be showcasing both classic and new styles of story-telling. Be sure to check out this free event and spend the afternoon with this great artist!
