The BOYOBOY Collective is a free, twice-monthly (2nd & 4th Tuesdays), drop-in workshop series for younger gay/bi/queer guys. It’s for youth interested in learning about more than the latest Lady Gaga remix, fashion trend or what boyband member just came out (yawn). In BOYOBOY, learn about queer samurai and Greek mythology, gay superheroes and radical homohop artists. Learn how young men in history shaped their generation: from Tchaikovsky to Rimbaud to Brando to Basquiat. Through discussion and interactive activities, explore themes of identity, sex, love, relationships and gender through the lens of history, culture, arts and media. Educational and always entertaining, the BOBC especially hopes to break stereotypes and clich鳠about what it means to be gay.
