The opening exhibit will be featured at the Daniels Centre of Learning Regent Park . All submissions for this particular showing must somehow reflect the theme of celebrating winter and the coming of the New Year.
Some questions/ideas to help guide your creative process:
- What does the coming of winter and/or the New Year mean to me?
- How are winter and the New Year celebrated in my culture?
- Compare and/or contrast the celebration of the New Year/winter here in Canada versus anywhere else you have lived.
Please submit a minimum of two sample pieces for review, in either JPG,GIF, OR TIF format, no later than February 3rd at 4:00 pm. These can be pieces that you have already created, or you may create something new if you wish.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
