Kaeja d'Dance is looking for volunteers for Porch View Dances. By helping out, you'll earn a place in the Kaeja d'Dance circle of friends and volunteers, a Kaeja d'Dance t-shirt and a credit in our program. You can volunteer for one show or more!
About Porch View Dances:
Real people, in real time, in real spaces:bringing together the everyday individual and the professional artist.
Experience 15 residents of Seaton Village, Toronto perform five breathtaking new dance creations on the steps of their own homes. Brought to you by Kaeja d’Dance, these works are choreographed by professional artists Nova Bhattacharya, Michael Caldwell, Maxine Heppner, Karen Kaeja & Allen Kaeja. The dances reflect the unique intricacies of the performers and their everyday lives. Audiences will be guided through the neighbourhood to witness this collaborative dance event. Special dance appearances by Diana Rose and Tina Fushell will accompany the neighbourhood walk. Each day ends in Vermont Square Park with an audience-inclusive Flock Landing dance finale.
