EAST Project Management Collective is a collaborative project for individuals between the ages of 16 to 24 interested in project and event management, public relations, networking, marketing and promotions, documentation and journalism, professional development and entrepreneurship. Under the professional guidance of industry professionals, the Project Management Collective will develop an organized project management strategy, build entrepreneurial networks, and identify specific project roles that corresponds to specific project roles that corresponds to specific industry careers.
In addition, the EAST Music Collective will receive focused skill development, employment training and certification, experience in recording, events, features and showcases. Participating artists will also construct a professional electronic press kit and a final showcase/event/gala for the EAST Music Collective.
The EAST Project Management Collective is an eight month project (November 2012 to July 2013) which requires the full commitment of the participating members.
