Job Description
The Dancer Transition Resource Centre is seeking a full time Membership and Administrative Intern for the period September 17, 2012 to March 29, 2013

Responsibilities:
1. Assisting Membership Manager with daily activities
2. Assisting with membership outreach initiatives, planning and execution
3. Researching career resources for website and grant assessment
4. Conducting research for reports, grant writing, statistics etc.
6. Assisting in conference and special event planning and execution
7. Preparing materials for meetings
8. Data entry and mass mailing support
Requirements
1. Interest in arts management and dance
2. Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
3. Detail oriented
4. Good research skills
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Access, Outlook, Word, and Excel
6. Self-starter, attention to detail, ability to work independently
7. Good time management and organizational skills
8. French language is an asset

Please Note: This position had been made possible by a grant from the Cultural Human Resources Council through its Career Focus Program. For this reason, the successful applicant must be:
• under 30 years of age (inclusive)
• a recent graduate of a college or university program
• a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada
• legally entitled to work in Canada
• currently unemployed or underemployed
And must not:
• not retain EI benefits while participating in the Youth Internship Program
• have been part of the Career Focus Program before
