The Performers:
Dave West was born in Ecuador and raised in Canada. This multi-string and vocal prodigy has thrilled audiences the world over with his stunning virtuosity, using fretless nylon & steel string guitars and Tumak harp-guitar in contemporary arrangements featuring northern and southern Quichua, Shuar and Tsachila nations as well as coastal and Andean Afro-Ecuadorian music. His current projects include the musical Ayawaska,Choclo y la Orgia Cosmica, and his ethno-blues configuration. Dave's music represents the spark of Renewal, inspired by music of the past and reinventing it in a contemporary format.

Sarah DeCarlo is a Peterborough, Ontario kwe who currently lives in her 1984 Dodge camper conversion van. She rocks audiences all across the land with her sweet tunes that are a celebration of life stories, experiences and travels across Canada. Her music is a mash up of rock, punk, folk, country and pop with a little something for everyone. Her songs and live performances weave together insight, emotion and pure & potent power, making big fat braids of laughter, love, strength and inspiration. Her first CD, Whisper In Your Ear arrives June 2012.

Sean Conway is an Ojibwe singer-songwriter, entertainer and guitarist from Curve Lake First Nation, Ontario, currently based in the city of Peterborough. Playing a variety of styles ranging from rockabilly, Western swing, old time country and hillbilly music, he has earned his stripes as an accomplished lead guitar player in a number of roots groups (Washboard Hank, Petunia, Catfish Willie & The Buckle Busters and The Avenues). Now working his own outfit, SEAN CONWAY and the SHINERS, he has performed at many festivals around the country including imageiNATIVE, the Peterborough Folk Festival, iNative Fest as well as Ode'min Giizis to name a few. Sean’s music is not only a Celebration of his community but, also of the human spirit.
