Eroca Nicols, winner of Dance Ontario’s 2010 Innovation Award, will be presenting the Keynote Address - Moving Parts: Working together to make dancing life better.
Six dance artists will offer their tips for your first year out of school in a dynamic panel discussion Year One: What's Your Action Plan? (Bagashree Vase, Lee Pham, Cara Spooner, Pamela Rashbach, Matt Sweet, Sarah Matton)
The DTRC's Amanda Hancox will lead Leaping into the Unknown, a creative workshop to help you fearlessly navigate change.
Experts will share their inside advice on how to make an impression when introducing yourself to agents, presenters, artists and more in Present Yourself Professionally. (Danny Davalos, Tanya Crowder, Christopher House)
Then you can test out your newly acquired skills at the Networking Lunch - your chance to talk with established artists and experts about…anything! (Megan Andrews, Natasha Frid, Amy Bowring, Jennifer Bennett, Kate Franklin, Martha Hicks, Meaghan O'Shea)
In the afternoon you will get to choose two out of three sessions: Money Matters (Rob Corbett), The Business of Dance (Chrystine Chambers and Dwayne Stevenson), and Dance International (Jennifer Dallas, Joanna Ivey).
