Introducing.....The Neighbourhood Arts Networking Series!

Session One: Training for community-engaged work
How to get started as a community arts facilitator? What kind of skills sets are needed? What kind of training is offered? What training opportunities are  missing?

Thursday April 29th, 2010
4pm-6pm
Art Starts in the Yorkdale Community Arts Centre (Yorkdale Shopping Mall, Lower Level,  3401 Dufferin Street).

This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues and spread the word about your organization and your work, so feel free to bring flyers or business cards. If you have a topic you’d like to discuss, or would like to host a future event, please let us know!

Each networking event is a gathering of community-engaged colleagues where we can connect in-person and engage in discussion in a relaxed atmosphere. Events focus on specific topics of relevance to our members. Each session is an informal discussion with a designated facilitator. These Networking Sessions are a chance for you to share your ideas, stories and history.

Networking events are FREE - please register by contacting skye@torontoarts.org or call (416) 392-6802 x212.
