OAC: Regional Media Artists’ Collectives Grant - Due Dec 3
REGIONAL MEDIA ARTISTS' COLLECTIVES
Program for: Collectives
Purpose: The Regional Media Artists’ Collectives Initiative provides grants up to $15,000 to assist Ontario media artists’ collectives in communities outside Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Guelph, and North Bay, with projects that provide local media artists with professional development opportunities.
Media arts include film, video, new media, audio art, electronic arts, and time-based art using the web and mobile devices.
Collectives are three or more artists who join together to undertake a project. The collective must have a bank account in its name and be able to cash a cheque.
Eligibility: The program is open to not-for-profit, Ontario-based collectives of media artists. Organizations receiving OAC operating funding are not eligible. Projects must pay fees to professional artists.
Deadline Date: December 3, 2012
Grant notification letters will be mailed out four months after the application deadline.
