Ten visionary days of current global Indigenous culture!

Book-ended by two weekend-long festivals, Harbourfront Centre hosts a citywide celebration – the largest multidisciplinary, contemporary, international Indigenous arts festival in the world. Celebrate the future while honouring our rich cultural past. Highlights of events taking place at Harbourfront Centre include the exciting Celebrating The Crossroads – Opening Night Spectacle, a co-headlining performance by Digging Roots and Kinnie Starr, storyteller, tikanga (protocols) and kapahaka (performing arts) expert Joe Harawira, the North American premiere of Susuriwka - Willow Bridge with Kaha:wi Dance Theatre and the Yokohama Noh Theater, a Robbie Robertson Tribute Show featuring Derek Miller and Special Guests, and guitarist Don Ross.

Planet IndigenUS co-produced by Woodland Cultural Centre is a ten-day multidisciplinary celebration of contemporary international Indigenous culture with events at Harbourfront Centre, Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford and at partner institutions around Toronto and the region and taking place from August 10-19.
