Please help make Art of the Danforth 2012 a reality!
Tonight Art of the Danforth launched a fundraising campaign to raise $1500 in 30 days, to go towards supporting the second incarnation of this free arts event presented in east Toronto (May 20 – June 10, to be exact).
Art of the Danforth will be returning in 2012 with a variety of art installations and events in over 50 indoor and outdoor locations along Danforth between Greenwood & Amroth. We have a small amount of grant money to do this thing (and THANK YOU City of Toronto, Ontario Trillium Foundation and Ontario Arts Council), but the vast majority of this event is built upon the sweaty, tired but buoyed-by-idealist backs of a host of volunteers who believe this event will help make the east Toronto neighborhood a better place.
