We Have A Winner!
Congratulations to iStar Youth in the Arts, winners of the Ricoh Aficio Business Colour Printer draw. Entries in the printer draw were based on NAN Member organizations who completed the 2010 Technology Survey by August 31st.
"The mission of iStar Youth in the Arts is to support, encourage and promote the highest potential of youth through the pursuit of excellence in the performing arts. A quality arts education can make a dramatic difference in the lives of young people.
Cast members at iStar learn skills in drumming, dancing and performing. But what we are really giving them are the tools to live a productive and inspired life. We believe that, through arts education, the development of a young person’s self-confidence, the building of skills, and the discovery of their ability to create, will open windows of opportunity and instill in them the excitement that comes when you have a dream and realize that you actually have the ability to achieve it."
