UforChange: FREE intensive 6-month arts training program
UforChange provides a FREE intensive 6-month arts training program to newcomer youth between the ages of 16-29.
UforChange is currently accepting applications for Cycle 6 and we are reaching out to both the Malvern and Weston-Finch Newcomer Services for Youth centres
UforChange currently offers workshops in:
· Photography
· Choreography
· Beat Production
· Theatre Acting
· Rap
· DJ
· Improv Acting
· Film Production
· Fashion
· Illustration (animation and graphic design are taught in this class)
We provide industry-standard materials and equipment used in our workshops. At the end of six months, youth participate in Vivacity, our signature event that showcases all their arts projects followed by a graduation where they receive a certificate indicating they have completed our program. Our focus upon graduation is to provide alumni with an educational opportunity.
