UrbanArts Mural Unveiling & BBQ
We invite you to join us as we celebrate another success for UrbanArts, our youth and the community.
The unveiling and BBQ is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, August 22nd from 3-5pm at 1901 Weston Rd @ the corner of Weston Rd/Lawrence.
The mural ‘Weston Then & Now’ is a 3 stage piece that celebrates both the heritage and ongoing cultural evolution of the Weston community. We begin with an archival depiction of local school children on an outing circa 1920 and then each successive wall quite literally illustrates a step towards a bright and uniquely diverse present and future to come.
