Call for Submission – Gallery Membership STUDIO 561 MEMBERSHIP / Starting April 2011

Our passion is to provide for artists at various stages of their careers and from all walks of life, a centre to congregate, network and exhibit.

Members of Studio 561 receive one two-person exhibit and one group exhibit each term.
Our gallery is 2000 square feet with plenty of wall space for large and small pieces.

BENEFITS
-A guaranteed venue to exhibit
-Gallery is located in a high traffic area at Bloor and Bathurst St., one minute from Bathurst Subway Station.
-Membership is non-exclusive; you can exhibit at any other gallery
-The gallery retains only 10% of sales
-Members will have free access to special events.
-Each member will have a video bio associated with Studio561

MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
-Members are asked to commit to a 12 Month term
-Membership fee 1150.00 Annual
-Artists monitor 2 person shows on Sundays
-Exhibits begin in April for members.
TO SUBMIT:
Please put together a package containing
-An artist statement discussing your body of work
-An artists CV
-A CD of 5-10 JPGs of work. Film/video artists may submit 2 short videos (10 minutes or less)
