One World: Glendower is a music/recording program conceptualized and designed in its entirety by youth in Scarborough’s Steeles L’Amoreaux neighbourhood with funding from the Laidlaw Foundation and Telus. Over the course of the four month program youth came together to work with high profile artists and to experiment with writing, performing, recording and producing their own music. Their ultimate goal? To use their creativity to better the community by creating an environment that facilitates the development of character, empathy and social responsibility.
