AFCY's Youth X Press program provides opportunities for young people to design and create public murals that are mounted onto the sides of TTC buses, thereby communicating directly with the public and TTC riders. The murals, in addition, aesthetically alter and enhance Toronto’s urban context.

The program provides youth with a means of expressing ideas, thoughts and feelings that are important to them, and allows Toronto youth to use their art making and talents to challenge public assumptions about marginalized young people. The project also builds on the relations between the TTC and youth.
